Philadelphia (PILL)

Founded in 2008, the Philadelphia Indoor Lacrosse League (PILL) is a highly competitive indoor lacrosse league managed by USIL. The PILL plays a Fall season and a Winter season. The Fall season is a part of the American Indoor Lacrosse League (AILL). The AILL consists of four leagues – Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington and Boston. The AILL plays under USIL Rules and regulations. The PILL also plays a highly competitive Winter season until late March.

P.I.L.L. Players:

The P.I.L.L. will start its winter league season in January. Please read carefully as the league has changed from past seasons:

The start date is TBD and will run for 10 weeks ending with the championship game.

  • Each team will be guaranteed 9 games – 8 regular season + 1 semifinal game
  • There will be 4 teams competing in the PILL Winter Session
  • The league will be held at Bucksmont Indoor Sports Center, 2278 North Penn Road, Hatfield, PA 19440
  • The times of the league are 8:00pm start for Game 1 and 9:10pm start for Game 2
  • Each team is required to have an 18 player minimum on there roster. Maximum roster size will be determined after first month of play
  • Because of the change in venue, teams’ rosters size/personnel will be affected. Thus, each team in the league is subject to a draft. The league’s goal is to be competitive for all of its participants, not just for one team involved. More information on this new policy to follow shortly
  • Potential team captains will be contacted before January. However, if you are interested in being a captain, please send email to info@usindoorlacrosse.com with “PILL Team Captain Request” in the Subject line. Team captains will receive a registration discount for their extra responsibilities, and a 15% discount on their Registration Fee
  • There will be no playing without registration. If you are found to have played in a game unregistered, it is a forfeit. Registration includes paperwork and fee. If you arrive late and register after the game, you are considered unregistered for that contest and the game will be a forfeit
  • The Registration Fee will be determined by the participation amount (Plus $6 admin and processing fee)

The Registration Fee includes:

  • Registration
  • Jersey (all players will be issued new jerseys from draft)
  • Insurance
